We believe every volunteer should be equipped with the knowledge and skills to be effective peacebuilders. Our structured training programme takes you from foundational concepts to advanced practice through a progressive learning pathway.

Module 1: Orientation & Foundations

Introduction to the Faculty of Peace, organizational values, code of conduct, and basic peacebuilding concepts. Required for all new volunteers.

Module 2: Conflict Analysis & Resolution

Understanding the root causes of conflict, conflict mapping, mediation fundamentals, and negotiation techniques for community-level disputes.

Module 3: Community Engagement

Stakeholder mapping, community dialogue facilitation, participatory approaches, and culturally sensitive engagement strategies.

Module 4: Advocacy & Campaign Skills

Message development, public speaking, social media advocacy, and how to design and execute effective local peace campaigns.

Module 5: Safety, Ethics & Reporting

Personal safety protocols, ethical boundaries, do-no-harm principles, and proper incident and activity reporting procedures.

Module 6: Advanced Leadership (Ambassadors Only)

Strategic thinking, programme design, mentorship skills, and leading multi-stakeholder peace initiatives. Exclusive to Peace Ambassador track.
